The Prince's oldest daughter, Concetta, was a romantic, emotional, and silent, young woman. She had romantic feelings for Tancredi, but he was unaware of her adoration. Tancredi's ignorance of her feelings drove Concetta to a lifetime of bitterness and anger. We do, however, learn that she later married and had a child. As an old woman, Concetta finally discovers that her lifetime of bitterness was a result of a misunderstanding, and she is finally able to let go of the past.
