The big theme in The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan is revenge and vengence. In this book Luke and Chronos' plan finally comes to fruition and they both will have vengence on those who did them wrong. Luke wants vengence on his father and all the other gods while Chronos wants vengence for trapping him.
