What is the author's style in The Last Days of Socrates by Plato?

Plato's language is clear and is written much as spoken word. As in a play or other media script, the dialogs have more than one point of view, each delivered from a first person perspective but labeled. This marking of the names is the only reference point to make a third person interpretation of the entire work of prose.
