The point of view of The Killer Collective changes every chapter, cycling through a total of nine characters throughout the novel. Most characters are told in the third-person, with the exception of John Rain, whose perspective is told in the first-person. The author also uses the second person at various points in the novel to illustrate internal battles and monologues that reveal the decision-making process of certain characters.
