What do Mark and Alec overhear once they've entered the Berg headquarters in Chapter 31?

Mark and Alec head off the walkway, and as they go along, they hear voices speaking about an entire burned out area, probably having to do with the people caught the previous night. They also talk about how things are more difficult since losing their other Berg, and that the others in Alaska haven’t been communicating since everything has gone weird.
