How did Mowgli leave the pack at last ?

When Akela is killed, he tells Mowgli to leave the jungle and return to man. He tells Mowgli, his debt is fulfilled. Over time, Mowgli becomes unhappy and takes a journey. Along the way, he comes to a village where he sees Muessa, who takes care of him. He then returns to his wolf family and says his goodbyes, after which, he leaves to live among men.
