Gamal Abdel Nasser is the Arab leader who helps to establish the United Arab Republic. He works with the Presidents of Iraq and Syria to establish the country and helps to write the Manifesto of the United Arab Republic which states the governing rules of the country. Nasser serves as a Palestinian officer in the Palestine War of 1948 after Israel declares independence and goes on to become President of Egypt. He makes many speeches and makes it clear that his army is prepared to enter Palestine at anytime. He opposes the establishment of a Jewish state since the Balfour Declaration when he is a school boy.
