The Israel-Arab Reader is a compilation of reports, articles, speeches and treaties of different people and groups involved in the situation in the Middle East. Many of the works presented are those of national or group leaders who are directly involved in events in the Middle East. Each of these leaders or groups presents their views on the various issues. The perspective of the selection is the perspective of the individual. The reader is reading the original documents, such as the speeches or the treaties, not somebody's interpretation of these documents. This allows the reader to see what the original documents contain and to draw his or her own conclusions.
