Hunger Games 1, Chapter 7, do you agree with how the participants are treated? What do you think about the participants gaining the favor of the audience in order to be sent gifts? Will Katniss and/or Peeta succeed in this?

I cannot provide you with an essay, but in essence, the tributes are treate like Olympic athletes..... they trains, perfect their looks for appeal, and they weigh each other's talents. As for whether gaining "favor" with the audience in exchange for gifts or support is right or wrong..... think about the Olympics..... athletes are chosen to endorse specific products all the time, irregardless of whether they are amateurs or professionals. Think about television network competitions like Dancing with the Stars or singing competitions...... it's all about captivating the audience and gaining their support. As for whether or not Peeta and Katniss will succeed, what do you think?
