Cathaline Bennett is a wych-hunter. She had worked with the great Jedriah Fox until his death, then she became a mentor for Jedriah's son, Thaniel. At the time of the novel she lives and works with Thaniel. She is tall with bobbed black hair, streaked with dark red.
