Who is the main character in The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald?

Many people would say that Gatsby is the main character. I disagree, in my opinion, Nick Carraway is the novel's main character. He stands as narrator from start to finish, and the story is told from his perspective. Although, the story undoubtedly revolves around Gatsby, it is Nick we come to know best.
