Describe symbolism in The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster by Bobby Henderson

Henderson uses the pirate fishbone as an obvious parody of the fish that represents the Christian faith. Unlike the Christian symbol, the pirate fish is depicted as rebellious and represents the FSM followers.
