The language of the novel is simple English. The novel and its dialogue are written in simple English that makes it easy to understand for all readers. The novel does, however, include words in foreign languages including Chinese and Celtic. These foreign words are often explained in text and do not hamper the comprehension of the novel. There are also slang words used in the dialogue that are used to make the speech more authentic and to get certain points across much easier than more formal language might afford.
