Narcheska comes from a matriarchal society, and the Prince comes from a
patriarchal society, foreshadowing a clash in power. How will these two royals work
together if they cannot resolve their cultural differences? This also symbolizes the problems found in any marriage.... the idea of not being able to resolve one's problems and compromise. With these two characters, however, it is worse because there is a power struggle at hand, foreshadowing an epic scene where the two royals may fight each other for power.
