CH. 15 - Jonas ' Traits

Looking at Chapter 15, specifically, Jonas possesses the great inner strength that is required to receive the painful memories. Jonas can also be seen as self-sacrificing and empathetic to the Giver's own pain, as he willingly helps him to rid himself of the pain he has carried through the years.
