The Flood Girls is set in the town of Quinn, Montana, is a small -- population under 1,000 -- town in the plains of Montana. There are only a few other towns around it, leaving it isolated away from significant population centers. Because of this, Quinn only has a few amenities, like a thrift store and a movie theater, and most of its residents live in trailers. Because of its size, though, Quinn does not easily welcome residents who are not like most people, like Jake.
