How does Beatrice treat Tillie?

Beatrice is cruel toward her daughter, Tillie. Beatrice frequently threatens to kill Tillie's pet rabbit. She also frequently forbids her from attending school, despite the fact that Tillie seems to enjoy it very much. Beatrice dismisses Tillie's interest in science.
