What is the author's style in The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger?

The language in The Devil Wears Prada is modern and fairly uniform throughout the novel. As all of the characters are adults and of the same background, more or less, the reader gets a sense of their personalities by the way they communicate with each other.
