The hero is another theme in the book. Superman, and the other members of the Justice League are the hero's in the story. While these characters each have their own superpowers and amazing abilities it clearly becomes more than just what they can do. Each of these characters continues to fight until they are more than just wounded. They never ask for money or gratitude in return for the services that they provide. While all the members of the Justice League are hero's the one that will stand out the most and truly define the description of a superhero is Superman himself.
