Elizabeth Woodville was the wife of Edward IV. She is also the mother of Elizabeth who laters become Henry Tudor's queen, as well as to the two boys who are supposedly murdered in the tower of London. When her husband, Edward, dies, she goes into sanctuary, but emerged very shortly thereafter and her daughters return to court under her brother-in-law, King Richard III. She is later banished to a nunnery by King Henry VII for undisclosed loyalties to Richard.
