Because The Da Vinci Code is targeted toward the widest range of readership, the language follows the action, suspense, and thrill of the story in that it is fast paced and full of dialogue among the characters. Brown's writing style is conversational and easy to read. However, there are instances where the author uses some French but it is basic enough for most readers to understand.
