The Crucible

In The Crucible, besides John Proctor, what other character from the play may also fit the definition of a martyr?

I think Elizabeth Proctor was definitely a martyr. She remained true to her convictions throughout the play. She lied once only to save her husband but her integrity was never of question. She even refused to convince her husband to plead false confession to save their lives:

"He have his goodness now, God forbid I take it from him."
