Stionehenge is a metaphor for mystery and myth. Stonehenge in southern England is the most impressive megalith formation that shows early man's effort to create something that would last forever. Comprised of two concentric, symmetrical circles of large stones, Stonehenge was constructed around 2000 B.C., as proved by twentieth century carbon dating, and this makes it one of the earliest works of European architecture.
