The first little boy is Miss Sally's son, though he remains unnamed. He loves Uncle Remus' stories, and he spends hours with the old man in order to hear more tales. The little boy also tends to get himself in trouble. and Uncle Remus stands up for him, often successfully. It's important to note, however, that Uncle Remus feels free to correct the child himself when he believes it necessary.
