What is telescope?

The telescope lens, which appears in the novel when Ali and Nahri are looking at the stars, represents the inquisitive spirit that both characters have in common. With it, they are capable of seeing things not discernible with the naked eye. When Ali kills Hanno with the lens, it represents the triumph of wisdom over violence.
