The Sealanders claim to be the New People, of superior intelligence and ability.
They are “think-togethers” who are going to build a new kind of world. They refer
to the Old People as isolated half-humans with no means of consensus.

Again this is an opinion question. If you track the history of man-kind one could come to the conclusion that human beings seek power, control.....There are individuals who do not but I think the opinion should be yours.
