Who is Mammaw from The Christopher Killer: A Forensic Mystery and what is their importance?

Mammaw is Patrick's Irish mother. He and Cameryn live with Mammaw in Silverton. Mammaw disapproves of Cameryn's interest in forensics, but near the end of the novel, she tells Patrick that it is time to tell Cameryn the truth about Hannah and the past.
