Give an example of irony in The Cask of Amontillado.

Irony abounds in the Cast of Amontillado. Just the name, for instance, is ironical in that Amontillado is a type of wine that doesn't even exist. Montressor makes it up. Secondly, the name Fortunato (which means good fortune) certain doesn't play out for the Fortunato since he becomes the unwitting victim. Additionally, Poe has Fortunato dresses as a Jester, but there is nothing to joke about as he is being led to his death. The added touch of the bells hanging from his costume, giving a little ring, would suggest a death knell. Then there is the entire dialogue between them. For example: We will go back. Your health is precious. Your are rich, respected, admired, beloved; you are happy, as I once was. You are a man to be missed."
