Born in Hawaii in 1937, Edwin Yamauchi's office is at the Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. His parents were immigrants from Okinawa, and his father passed away just before Pearl Harbor was bombed. This unassuming scholar has accomplished much since those humble beginnings. As a historian and expert witness in the case for Christ, he holds a bachelor's degree in Hebrew and Hellenistics, and master's and doctorate degrees in Mediterranean studies.
