The theory of Intelligent Design relies on evidence. One of the primary charges against Intelligent Design by evolutionists and skeptics is that design proponents do not argue from evidence, but a lack of evidence.

Strobel deconstructs this claim through the interviews he conducts. Each step of the way, he specifically interviews academics and scientists who, though some may have studied theology, are not religious leaders. Each of those individuals interviewed do not argue their positions for design based on the concept that without any evidence, God must be the cause, but rather, based on the evidence, an intelligent designer can be detected.

Strobel’s investigation brings together philosophical and scientific evidence. From simple logic and reason by way of the Kalam Argument explained by Craig to the order of the universe explained by Collins to the uniqueness both of Earth and its placement in the universe demonstrated by Gonzalez and Richards to Behe’s irreducibly complex systems to information at the most microscopic level presented by Meyer, Strobel himself recognizes there is no lack of information regarding intelligent design.
