The Happy Hocker is a Los Angeles pawn shop owned by Oscar Obinna. Meadows pawned a bracelet the day of his death, and Obinna was robbed that very night. When Bosch arrives on the scene, Obinna is frustrated that he's come in with a pawn ticket, but the police haven't yet responded to the robbery he reported.
