Comment on structure

The book is divided into six general parts and numerous chapters. In Part I, "The Escape Artist," the general theme of the escape artist is laid out, with Joe being the real-live escape artist. In Part II, "A Couple of Boy Geniuses," Sam Clay and Joe Kavalier establish their collaboration and then, with the sponsorship of Empire Comics, create the ground work for a successful enterprise. This part includes chapters going through details of the boyhood of Sammy and the background of the character, the Escapist.
