The playwright highlights Dikaiopolis's character arc by juxtaposing Lamachus getting ready for battle with Dikaiopolis getting ready to go feast. How has the character of Dikaiopolis changed?

In the beginning of the play Dikaiopolis attends the assembly early and fights for his beliefs with intelligence. He believes that a few privileged people were reaping benefits while others were toiling away. Dikaiopolis finds a way to make peace, and when he realizes he can benefit from it, he turns out to become just like the privileged ones before him.
