Importance of Starbucks

Jessie and Ethan, when working on their project for English class, frequently work in a Starbucks near to Wood Valley. Jessie also applies for a job at a different location, but is denied for not having previous Starbucks experience. Similar to Book Out Below! with Liam, Starbucks becomes the location where Jessie and Ethan get to know one another while working on their school project but also discussing unrelated things in their lives as well.
