Dan Skorski from Tales of Ordinary Madness is a former rubber plant worker, turned writer. His work is good enough to garner the notice of a publisher who asks him to submit something. Dan blows his big chance by choosing to drink, alot. Having missed his chance, he goes to Mexico where he continues to drink and in the process tries to knock over a statue of Jesus in the local park one afternoon.
