Who is Oneh from Sinuhe the Egyptian: A Novel and what is their importance?

Oneh was Sinuhe's first teacher of writing. He is described as an elderly priest, who is gentler than most in his profession, and who recites pious stories that keep the students' attention as well. In his school, held on his veranda, the sons of tradesmen and soldiers are taught in exchange for whatever their fathers do for a living. Sinuhe meets his best friend, Thothmes, in Oneh's school.
