Moonheart is a tough and detached unicorn who has mysterious connection to Ivy Morris. He is a relative of the Queen's and she trusts him above all others. He is also Lightfoot's uncle. The Queen choses Moonheart to be the leader of the traveling partying that assists Cara in her quest to go back to Earth to retrieveher grandmother. Moonheart is very responsible and has made it his life to serve the Queen's Court. Because of this he is annoyed by his care-free nephew Lightfoot ways. It is revealed that Moonheart was the unicorn who saved Ivy Morris when she was a young girl, paving the way for her to first come to Luster.
