Somewhere in the Darkness

Which character changed the most from beginning to end?

I need three quotes proving that character change and what might've caused that change

I think that Jimmy changes through the story. The trip across country is a complicated one because of the odd relationship between father and son. Jimmy does not know what his role is in this relationship and Crab has had dreams of what this relationship should be and is disappointed when it does not prove to be what he has always thought it would be. These two men cannot figure out how to be with one another and the relationship eventually explodes in disagreement.

Father-son relationships are as different as the people in them. In this book, this relationship is there through blood, but not through interaction. It is difficult for these two people to figure out what and who they are, but in the end there is still the affection that is inherent in this type of relationship.
