We are often treated to small excerpts of perspectives from other figures in the story. For instance, the pilots who first fly the major aircraft built in the book are usually given a page or two to give their perspective on the plane, the flight, the Skunk Works and the major characters. We also often hear from individuals of quite high rank, such as generals and secretaries of defense. Each has his own story to tell, but overall they give quite high praise to the Skunk Works.
