Who is Mr. Hughes?

Mr. Hughes became a principal at the Governor's School for the Arts shortly prior to Ryan's audition. He encouraged the judges to give him a chance. Ryan attributed much of his success in life to Mr. and Mrs. Hughes' help and encouragement.
