Rain Barrels

These rain barrels are a symbol of ingenuity. Because the adults have been unable to come up with a satisfactory way to get water to the garden easily, Sam invites the children to participate in a contest to search for answers to the water problem. One young black girl comes up with the idea to use barrels under the rain spouts in order to catch the rainwater.
