See No Evil is written in the first person. It is the story of the career of CIA case officer Robert Baer who is the author of the book. See No Evil is a detailed account of the life and responsibilities of a CIA case officer in perilous assignments across Europe and the Middle East. Baer relates the difficult overseas assignments to which he was assigned during his career. He tells of the perilous aspects of his job in recruiting foreign "agents" for the CIA.
