Danger and thrill seeking is a recurring idea. There's little doubt that Damian and Carrie Rose are eager for the thrill that accompanies the planning and execution of their business in San Dominica. They spent a lot of time putting together the plan and are being paid, but they seem to greatly enjoy the danger. For example, as Carrie and Damian are walking naked on the beach, they are talking about their plans and Damian becomes sexually aroused. That indicates not only a desire for the money, but a love of the thrill. Damian is not the only one who enjoys that type of danger.
