Who is Nicolai Bobrov from Russka: The Novel of Russia and what is their importance?

Nicolai Bobrov is Misha's. He is educated in Moscow, where he becomes involved in the revolutionary movement of 1874. His father's intervention saves him from the authorities. Nicolai later marries and has three children. In 1906, he sells his estate to Vladimir Suvorin and moves to Moscow, where he becomes a member of the duma. When the Bolsheviks take control, he escapes to Finland.
