What warning does Friar Laurence give Romeo?

Romeogoes to Friar Laurence and asks him to marry him and Juliet. But I don't get what he warned him about

Friar lawrence warns Romeo to slow down in his obsessive love. He tells Romeo not to be so hasty and obsessive. "love moderately," as love that lasts a long time is moderate, or not so passionate."
