this is Act4 scene 3. at the veryend. i don't have my book and we are doing a worksheel and this site has been helping me 2 100's in a row on tests thanks to this site so please help me with this question.
I agree that it is not courage but she drinks it in desperation. She can't imagine a life without Romeo and so if he has died- she will join him. She never questions whether or not she will drink the poison it is just something she is going to do to ensure she can be with Romeo forever.
