Papa tells Cassie, "There are things you can't back down on, things you gotta take a stand on. But it's up to you to decide what them things are." What things do you think Cassie must take a stand on? Why?

Papa believes that Cassie should stand up for herself, her family, and her friends. In my opinion, Papa would have approved of Cassie's payback to Lillian Jean..... he wanted his children to take apride in who they were, and where they came from.
