What is the author's style in Rhinoceros, and Other Plays by Eugene Ionesco?

Ionesco's writing is highly experimental and breaks with many conventions regarding character development and dialogue. His characters are, for the most part, one-dimensional. They often do not seem like real people, but rather as caricatures of certain types of people or embodiments of ideologies.
