What are the motifs in Rhinoceros, and Other Plays by Eugene Ionesco?

Ionesco's primary concern in each of these three plays is to make a political argument against totalitarian, collectivist ideologies. In order to make sure his point is understood, Ionesco creates worlds which are vague, exaggerated, and even outright bizarre.
