Revelations is written in the first person point of view, from the perspective of different characters. For example, when Schuyler is telling the story, it is from her point of view. When Oliver is telling the story, then it is from his point of view. The novel swings back and forth between the present and the past. The present represents the time of the characters in their present bodies. The past represents the time in history when the Blue Bloods were fighting against Lucifer.
